Pocket Edition PDFs, Production, and VAT

Greetings Adventurers!
We hope you've been well and are having lots of fun games with your friends and family. We just have a few things to inform you of:
Pocket Edition PDFs. These just went out today via Backerkit. If you had a pocket edition PDF as part of your order please find it here: https://dangerous-destinations.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards
Production. We are still at the mercy of supply chain shortages. Our production facility is waiting on paper. We have explored other production options but have run into the same or other complications so we're sticking with our usual production facility.
VAT. We ran into an odd issue with Backerkit. Here is the statement from our Backerkit rep:
"The Dangerous Destinations project had an error with VAT percentages earlier that was recently fixed. We've realized incorrect VAT percentages somehow pulled from another project while setting that project up & needed to correct the VAT percentages after that issue. Some backers were recently charged VAT in the Dangerous Destinations project after adding the correct VAT fees. Please click the "need help" on your survey if you have questions."
Anyone who was affected by this error has been emailed directly by Backerkit. We're very sorry for the issue.
We hope to have some better news in the near future as the printing process begins.

Production Starting Soon, Map Pack Revisions

This is just a quick update to let you know that our manufacturer is expecting paper soon at which point production will begin on physical rewards. We hope the process goes smoothly.
Map Pack Revisions. Some of our backers were having issues with the color format on the original map files. We've revised them and re-uploaded them into Backerkit. You should have received an email from Backerkit with instructions on how to download them. Hi All,
There's not much to report at this time, but we wanted to keep you informed. As mentioned in our update on December 3rd, supply chain issues are still causing problems across the book manufacturing industry and we're just waiting on paper to arrive at our production facility. We've checked with other book manufacturers and it appears to be an industry wide problem. We're hoping to have good news soon and will update you when that happens. We appreciate your patience.

Backer PDF Release!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I've got some good news today:
The PDF Release is HERE!
After some adjustments for production, the work on the PDF is complete and ready to release. Here is how things are going to go:
PDF-Only Backers / Hardcover & PDF Bundle Backers: Emails will be sent out from Backerkit with instructions on how to download your PDF copy of the book.
Hardcover-Only Backers: Because the PDF is releasing ahead of the hardcover, we don't want anyone to be left out. Just like we did with Spectacular Settlements, we will be offering anyone who backed at the hardcover-only level the opportunity to pick up the PDF for $10 (which, when combined with the cost of the hardcover-only pledge, will equal the cost of the bundle pledge).
We are currently setting this up on the back end, so it may take several days, but instructions will be sent out via direct messages soon on how you can claim your discounted PDF.
NOTE: While you enjoy the book, please let us know if you spot anything that seems off, and we will happily make any updates we can. Please post anything you notice over at our Discord server here. You can also submit an issue via our contact form.

Production Update
Production of the physical books still, unfortunately, continues to be an ongoing challenge. As it stands, the files are ready for production but we have yet to get an estimated time of production due to global supply chain issues. We will of course keep you all in the loop as we hear any new information.

Lastly, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported this project, and Nord in general. The past couple years have been a brutal challenge (one which hasn't concluded) but we're pressing on and continuing to do our best to give you our best. Your patience and understanding through these tough times is a boon to us, and is more valuable than you know. I hope that this book helps you to create intriguing and inspiring places for you and your fellow game masters and players to explore, and engage in some much-needed fun and escapism. :D
